What this site is (and isn't)

Independent fan resource, not affiliated with Marvel or NetEase. Built because the tools we wanted didn't exist.

What this site is

A fast, ad-light reference for Marvel Rivals. Every hero gets a real page with abilities, costumes, counters, and pro tips. Tier lists update each patch. Stats come live from the Marvel Rivals community API and refresh regularly so what you see actually reflects the current meta.

What this site is not

Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Marvel, Disney, or NetEase Games. Hero names, art, gameplay details, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. We use them under fair use to write commentary and guides for the community.

Who ranks this

The tier list, counter calls, and pro tips are written by the site maintainer: a Diamond-rank player who has tracked ranked queues since the Season 0 closed beta, watches every patch stream on day one, and pulls roughly 40,000 ranked matches of telemetry from the community API before each refresh. Editorial calls get made when raw win rate misses context: a one-trick spike, a ban-heavy meta pick, fresh buffs that have not had time to settle in the data. Every tier change is dated against the patch it ships with.

We are not a content farm. There is no AI-generated copy in hero guides, no scraped Reddit threads passed off as analysis, no “top 10 best heroes” SEO bait. If a hero is rated S, the page tells you why in the words of someone who actually plays the matchup.

How tier rankings get made

  1. Pull live win and pick rates from marvelrivalsapi.com after each patch settles for 48 hours.
  2. Bucket heroes by win rate first: anything above 53% on a healthy sample lands in S or A by default.
  3. Apply editorial overrides for skill ceiling, ban rate, and recent buff or nerf momentum.
  4. Sort within each tier left to right by live win rate, so the strongest in a bracket surfaces first.
  5. Annotate the patch date in the sticky badge above the tier so readers can see how fresh the call is.
